Description
Frigates are medium-sized, multi-purpose combat vessels effective at creating a solid anti-air envelope around friendly surface vessel units. They have radar to detect air, ground, and naval units as well as a ranged anti-air capability with a range of 150. These units are more expensive to produce than the Corvette, but in return they promise stronger weapons, and better equipped technology for mid to late game. As a result of this they are very capable against incoming missiles and aircraft.

- Unlocked with Day 2 Research: Radar - Unit can detect air, ground, and naval units.
- Unlocked with Day 2 Research: Ranged Anti Air - This unit can engage hostile aircraft that enter its AA envelope.
- Unlocked with Day 24 Research: Reveals Stealth - Reveals stealth units.
