Description
Attack Helicopters are heavily armed rotary-wing attack aircraft designed to hit hard or heavily armed targets. They are usually armed with auto-cannons and guided anti-tank missiles, in addition to being able to detect stealth units. Attack helicopters evade most radar detection by flying low altitude, Nap-of-the-Earth (NOE) courses that use geographical features such as valleys or ravines to avoid detection of SAM and TDS.
Features
This unit has the following features on its final tier:

History
Western Doctrine
A high-speed reconnaissance and attack compound helicopter, the Raider has a distinctive rigid co-axial rotor system which enables the aircraft to fly two pilots and six crew 10,000 feet high, 276 mph, and all while experiencing extreme temperatures. Fitted with 7-shot rocket pods and .50 caliber guns, and an exhaust system that masks its heat signature so that heat-seeking missiles fail to reach their target, this helicopter is designed to be the next generation of helicopter aviation.
Eastern Doctrine
Deadly and efficient, the Russian MI-28 Havoc, is a dedicated attack helicopter known worldwide for its speed and all-weather versatility. It has a chin-mounted 30mm Shipunov 2A42 cannon along with stub wings which can mount, among other armament configurations, 16 Ataka-V anti-tank missiles and 40 S-8 rockets. This machine is all deserving of its name.
European Doctrine
The Eurocopter Tiger is a resilient and well equipped all-composite multirole attack helicopter. The Tiger is both agile and stealthy, and has a high rate of survivability due to these characteristics. Being armed to the teeth doesn’t hurt either- a nose-mounted .30mm turret, various gun pods, rockets, and air-to-air and air-to-surface missiles- the two pilots and one weapon systems officer are sitting comfortably wherever the Tiger takes them.
