Amphibious Combat Vehicles, such as the ACV 1.1, are tracked or wheeled vehicles.They are capable of transitioning from water to ground operations without tactical pause, making them a very viable option to be paired with Naval infantry as these machines can embark or disembark anywhere regardless whether a harbour or pontoon is available, or not. They have countermeasures that can contend with a range of direct and indirect fire, and landmine threats. At the same time they can be upgraded to have strategic airlift and NBC protection available.

Features

This unit has the following features on its final tier:

• Unlocked with Day 3 Research: Coastal Embarking/Disembarking - Unit can embark/disembark at any coastal province without the need for harbours.
• Unlocked with Day 14 Research: Airlift - This unit can be transported between airports/landing strips via airlift. Note that it is completely defenseless while in the air.
• Unlocked with Day 26 Research: Limited WMD Protection - Unit is better protected when attacked by missiles armed with chemical/nuclear warheads.
