Amphibious Combat Vehicles, such as the ACV 1.1, are tracked or wheeled vehicles.They are capable of transitioning from water to ground operations without tactical pause, making them a very viable option to be paired with Naval infantry as these machines can embark or disembark anywhere regardless of whether a harbor or pontoon is available, or not. They have countermeasures that can contend with a range of direct and indirect fire, and landmine threats. At the same time, they can be upgraded to have a strategic airlift and 50% NBC damage protection available from WDMs.

Features

This unit has the following features on its final tier:

• Unlocked with Day 3 Research: Coastal Embarking/Disembarking - Unit can embark/disembark at any coastal province without the need for harbours.
• Unlocked with Day 14 Research: Airlift - This unit can be transported between airports/landing strips via airlift. Note that it is completely defenseless while in the air.
• Unlocked with Day 26 Research: Limited WMD Protection - Unit is better protected when attacked by missiles armed with chemical/nuclear warheads.
