Description
Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft provide long-range radar surveillance. Equipped with powerful sensors, these planes can often spot distant enemy airplanes, helicopters, and armored ground unit movement. Upgrades are available which would allow it to reveal stealth units. They are not equipped with weapons or counter attack measures.
