Naval Strike Fighters such as the Super Hornet detailed below, are carrier-based multi-role fighters specifically focused on air-to-ground attack missions. Well equipped to counter air threats, the real value of the strike fighter is it’s deep strike capability. It is equipped to take off from and land on aircraft carriers. They are capable of carrying and launching 1 missile every 12 hours. Role: A carrier-based strike fighter with a strength in attacking naval vessels.
