Amphibious Combat Vehicles, such as the ACV 1.1, are tracked or wheeled vehicles. They are capable of transitioning from water to ground operations without tactical pause, making them a very viable option to be paired with Naval infantry as these machines can embark or disembark anywhere regardless if a harbour is available. They have countermeasures that can contend with a range of direct and indirect fire, and landmine threats.  At the same time they can be upgraded to have strategic airlift and NBC protection available.
