Description
The Air Superiority Fighter is a fixed-wing combat aircraft with the primary role of establishing total air dominance, ensuring that friendly ground units within the theater of operations remain safe from air attacks. Essentially these aircraft excel at destroying other aircraft, but are very weak in attacking ground targets. Use the Air Superiority Fighters' speed to your advantage. You can send just one fighter on patrol, and with his radar, they will uncover the enemy targets within striking distance. This is a modern jet fighter which enables friendly aircraft and bombers to attack and fly with a lesser likelihood of being shot down. The Air Superiority Fighter is a primary anti-air unit that is fast and expensive, with a relatively short range of operations. Be aware of TDS & SAM launchers as Superiority fighters are particularly susceptible to being shot down (given these units specialise in shooting down aircraft) , without being able to counter attack or defend themselves well.
