Description
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s, or more commonly known as drones) such as the X-47B detailed below, fly autonomously or via remotely. They are generally used for reconnaissance and surveillance although some drones are armed and utilize stealth technology for more complicated missions.
Features
This unit has the following features on its final tier:
- Ranged Combat
- Stealth
- Reveals Stealth
- Carrier Launch
The X-47B has an extended wingspan of 61.2 feet, cruises at Mach 0.9 and has a ceiling of 42,000 feet- not forgetting the two weapon bays which can provide up to 4,500 pounds of ordnance… This machine is heavy in all senses of the word.
And so are it’s Russian and European counterparts- the MIG Skat and nEUROn.
