The Mobile Surface-to-Air Missile Launchers such as the AN/TWQ-1 Avenger depicted below, provide mobile, medium-range air defense protection against advancing low-flying aircraft such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s) and fixed-wing fighters.
